10Welp, that's step #32 out of #56. Not that long to go before we complete the shadowrun! ...right? I mean, those trained security guards out there probably won't be a hurdle... maybe?
Welcome to a tabletop game of Shadowrun 4th Edition, released in 2005 by Catalyst Game Labs, although we are playing the errated 20th Anniversary version released in 2009. I've never played this edition before, but I have some familiarity with the system and its lore. I also have some familiarity with the gaming group; it's the same group who played "Vampire: The Masquerade - 20th Anniversary Edition." Reaperoa/Sean, who was Joseph Cheung in that series, is now the Game Master. Viewers beware.
This game takes place in 2072 Los Angeles, a corporate enclave, different from the standard setting of Seattle. Your mileage may vary.
We're using a free Java-based program known as MapTool to simulate our virtual tabletop.
