If you watched my previously uploaded video, "LGWI - I WANNA BE GRIMIFF," then you heard me mention the possibility of playing this game. To recap: I am not playing this blind. I went through the original back in the '90's, and I had the pleasure of playing UQM... albeit several years ago. Consequently, while I still recall the basic plot of the game and some of its secrets, I don't remember much, nor do I wish to. By playing this game again, I'm hoping to relish the joy of uncovering its secrets once more. For those of you who've never heard of or played the game, this series is for you. Therefore, I'm stating my zero tolerance policy on spoiler-related material posted in the comments unless it has been revealed in the current video. I understand you may end up getting frustrated about how I play the game because I'm not connecting the whatsitdoodad to the whargarbl, thus zipping through UQM and speed-running it in under a game year. If you want that, consult a Speed FAQ - I'm sure they exist - and do it yourself.

I have not yet decided whether I'm going to play through the entire game or if I will record myself doing so. UQM's not a game like one of the Trilby Quadrilogy where I can just finish it in one sitting and go about the rest of my day. Oh, sure, if I didn't plan on showcasing the numerous dialogue and combat options - vocal dialogue in this game totals over eleven hours in length - I suppose I could, but where would the fun be in that? I can't guarantee I won't talk over some dialogue or even skip past it, but, well, even I have limits on my patience for backstory (for instance, "6 Days A Sacrifice").

Hopefully, this elaborate video description - conceived and written by Past Grimith - allows me the flexibility to get on with playing the game instead of rambling incessantly at all of you, but we'll see.
