Da Capo is the new unga bunga

I normally wouldn't bother showcasing non-boss invitations, but new Index is notably mean. In addition to the usual +2 they get to their dice, the new index blunt card, Binding Chains, is -1 opponent on singleton, with an additional -2 if the first die hits. Like before, Execute + 2 is unfairly hard to clash against, and you need to be prepared to eat some damage for the greater good. Like new Liu, this reception is also 2 acts / 1 floor, meaning the same party needs to survive both battles.

To spice things up a bit, the boss characters will also cycle through Unlock cards, eventually reaching a point where they can use their ultimate skills (basically enemy EGO pages). Each character has a different ult, but they all suck.

This is the farm party I use to grind key pages from this stage. It doesn't use any pages from the index fight itself iirc, so it should be usable on an initial clear. I've found it to be pretty consistent, and can land clears without needing Da Capo (although it certainly helps). The main concept behind these builds is to ensure that everyone has a means of securing +2 consistently, or +1 baseline. Kalo is also very powerful here thanks to Le Regole and cheap bullets you can fire to stagger enemies.

Netzach is an excellent floor for this reception because of his access to Laughing Powder, Ever Repeating Performance, A Token Of Friendship, Da Capo, and Fragments From Somewhere. All of them are of course generally useful, but Laughing Powder and Performance are especially relevant in a stage where stagger is a death sentence, and there's a ton of enrage mechanics to fight through.

As for dealing with individual aspects:
Netzach's floor should have 1 blunt power user and 1 pierce power user. The blunt user will be in charge of using Da Capo, with the pierce user in charge of using Faint Aroma and Fragments From Somewhere.

If you choose to go with the puppet / emma build for your blunt user, I recommend packing Deep Drag, since its dice will be able to reliably outroll Execute + 2.

Sturdy Defense or Golden Opportunity + 2 are very good ways to deal with Will of the Prescript.

If an enemy is about to use their ult, use Fragments from Somewhere and ranged attacks to try and stagger them before their attack comes up. If you don't think you can pull that off, use Ever Repeating Performance. It'll end the turn without them being able to ult, and buy you a ton of breathing room.

If you can, try to use Da Capo on cooldown. If nothing else, the bind will give you a ton of control over how individual turns play out.

If you find yourself in a situation where you definitely can't win the clash, try to play Nemo's 2-cost defensive pages, to at least mitigate the damage you take and generate some charge. Eating raw Executes is going to hurt in the long run.
