Here's a fight where, besides aiming to create a visually striking encounter, I highlighted some mechanics of the Lies of P combat system; particularly, the various mix-ups and combos of different weapons, as well as the use of animation cancels, which keen observers will surely notice.

A mechanic that I've noticed is often overlooked by Lies of P players is not immediately finishing off an enemy when they're staggered, but instead taking advantage of the opportunity to land a max punish with a few hits first, optimizing combo damage as much as possible.

In this video, I only upgraded stamina and weight (to be light and agile), without boosting any attack statistics, yet damage in my combos is present, thanks to the right choice of attacks and exploiting the mechanics that the combat system offers.

I could have easily done the entire fight with just deflects, but I chose a mixed approach of deflects and various dodges because I find it more visually appealing and efficient. Dodges lead to an immediate counterattack, allowing for a continued aggressive approach and the opportunity to follow up with a combo right after.

It's worth mentioning the importance of deflects (which some may mistakenly ignore) as they reward the player by staggering the enemy, providing an opportunity for significant damage if utilized well.

Furthermore, with the right perks in the skill tree and various amulets, successful deflects are further rewarded.

That said, I'd like to make a couple of comments about this charming mini-boss, which proves to be a solid fight where players can enjoy experimenting with combos and various mechanics of the game's combat system 🔥
