Part 29 - The Abbey's Door Guardian
We pick up where we left off after the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss fight, and continue on to a submarine that will take us to the Isle of Alchemists. Here is a desolate desert beach, with memories from the past to explore. We also run into Sophia, who tells us she is an illusion and her real body is at the top of the Abbey and she's wishing for peace. We will give her peace when we find her, but first, we need to storm the beach, and enter the castle. The entrance is heavily guarded with monsters, and ballista, trying to impede our progress. But we are determined and fight our way through, and destroy the ballista. It's not over though, just through the first gate, is the Abbey's Door Guardian, a tough boss who seems to have infinite health and hits like a truck. It seems he's weak to fire though, because once we set him ablaze, his health melts away and we are able to progress. We begin climbing the Abbey, and decide to take a break once we reach the next stargazer. We have a long way to go though, and a big surprise waiting for us near the top.
