Life Is Better Than Video Games
It's so easy to get comfortable sitting behind a screen all day caught up in the online world. But does that really make you happy, or are you just entertained and occupied? Life is better than a video game. Go outside. Go explore. Go see the world. You'll feel less like a zombie and more like the vibrant human being you are.

About Cam Adair:
My name is Cam Adair and I'm the founder of Game Quitters, the worldโs largest support community for video game addiction. Our community has about 50,000 members across 85 countries.
Growing up I was a fairly normal Canadian kid. I went to school, played hockey, and then I would go home and play video games. That all changed in the 8th grade when I began to experience a lot of bullying, leading me to drop out of high school. For the next few years I was living in my parents basement playing video games up to 16 hours a day, depressed, and struggling with anxiety. Eventually it got so bad I wrote a suicide note, and that's the night when I realized I needed to make a change.
Fast forward a few years later and after a bad relapse where I binge gamed for five months straight, I quit and this time, decided to share my story online about my experience. After hearing from thousands of others who shared that they too struggled, I had the honor giving a TEDx talk. That led to me hearing from even more people. I knew I needed to do something more, so in 2015 I launched Game Quitters with the intention of creating the best platform possible to help anyone in the world who wanted help with their video game addiction.
Today my life is surreal. I travel all over the world speaking and sharing about the work I do, I was recently named one of Canada's Top 150 Leaders in Mental Health, and had a paper published in Psychiatry Research. My story has been featured in BBC, Forbes, ABC, Vice, CBC, CTV, and so many others... but more importantly, I'm happy. I live my life to the fullest and do my best to make every day count. It's a stark contrast compared to the days I was playing video games. And I just try to be an example of what's possible for you too, if you commit to realizing your full potential.
I'm here because I love to help, so if you have any questions leave a comment and I'd be happy to support you.
