Life is Feudal | Item Quality: Why does it matter? | Quality, Durability and Stacking
213Ok so this was a relatively sort video folks and I hope you understood what I was trying to say: QUALITY DOES MATTER. Below is a basic explanation of why Item Quality Matters:
Stacking: A stacked Item merges qualities using math that averages the items. Two items with the quality 1 and 100 joined together will form two items in a stack with the same quality of the average of the two which is close to 50. It is recommended to store low quality and high quality items separately in its own stacks.
Quality of items determines the Durability, Effective Damage and Damage Mitigation of Items.
Durability: This is exactly as the meaning, how long you can use something before it breaks/becomes useless.
Effective Damage: How the quality of your weapon effects another player in terms of Damage (Piercing, Slashing, Blunt). Weapons at low quality are useful but won't impact as much damage as you want. High quality weapons will impact higher damage.
Damage Mitigation: This is basically how well your armour is made. IF it is made well over Quality 75 then you will shrug off hits and take less armour (not guaranteed if the weapon impacting you is your armour counter). Low Quality armour has less Damage mitigation therefore you take a lesser % of damage than you would in high Quality armour.
