This was a blind playthrough, so when I recorded this, I didn't know what all the awkward set-up was for. They're essentially prepping the player for the ending of the game, the final choice. But again, like that plot twist, this just shows how bad the storytelling is, because in a good story, the whole story would have been prepping you for the ending, and you wouldn't have to take half and hour out of the story to re-tell parts of the story to prep the audience for the ending. And also, because this is all a hallucination inside Max's head, I don't take any of it seriously because it's not real.
