Sharon Carne is an author, international speaker, sound therapist, publisher, musician and recording artist. From 1988 to 2016, Sharon was a faculty member of The Conservatory, Mount Royal University. In 2008 her work changed direction. Sharon is the founder of Sound Wellness, the Sound Wellness Institute and co-founder of the Emergent Workforce Program. Through the Sound Wellness Institute, holistic health practitioners receive the highest level of competency training in Canada in using sound and music to support their practice. The Emergent Workforce program is dedicated to restoring wellbeing, community, purpose, creative collaboration, and kindness to the workforce.

Hello, my name is Carmen Hansen and I am a listener of divine wisdom. I channel messages from divine source, elders, and animals. I channel divine light to shift ‘stuckness’ and deliver my message of peaceful intention, creating a healing state within my tribe.
As a child, I felt connected with nature, the earth and especially animals. Early childhood found me wandering outside, talking to the cat, conversing with trees, playing in the dirt and hiding out with the dog in his house.
Starting in grade one, I had my heart set on becoming a veterinarian, a healer for those that have less of a voice. This remained constant up to grade ten. I volunteered at a veterinarian clinic and the experience was jarring. I knew I could not serve animals in this way. I set aside my goal and entered the mainstream workforce.
Thankfully, for many years, my intuitive light worker sister held space for me to step Into what she ‘saw’ as my true calling, a channel for healing.
When I ‘awoke’, I worked with Reiki, and found a course called ‘Healing Touch for Animals’ . I recognized that my dream to assist animals to thrive and live healthier lives could be realized in a radically different way. Not healing matter on matter, instead using intention and light energy on matter.
When I began to listen to my inner wisdom and was willing to hear outside messages from divine source and guides I began walking an elder’s journey.
One of most significant modalities I use now is ‘Sound Wellness’. Using the vibration and sounds of my voice, tuning forks, drums and Tibetan Bowls, my intention of creating shifts in the body/mind and movement of energy to a healing state is amplified and deepened.
During my sessions, I have had the privilege of interpreting animals messages, seen joint and body pains relieved, witnessed deep restful states of peace, behaviours modified and ‘stuck emotions’ released. It has been a remarkable journey of wisdom and listening.
I continue to be in awe at what all our abilities could be, should we choose to invite them. I encourage others to explore their own gifts and empower themselves. I am so grateful to be included in the journey towards higher vibration and health in the body, mind and spirit.
