I started with just a Pistol for both of them! You can tell the difference's. First off the casual play through you get the Plasma Gun and the BFG 9000. Which makes the final boss easier, however the puzzle in this one is so confusing! The good thing about the Speedrun play through you don't have to do the puzzle, however you don't have the BFG or the Plasma Gun for the final boss if you start on this level!
