This gaming session guides players as a no commentary full playthrough and walkthrough of Playdead's LIMBO video game. This video is part four of a 100% completion rate run wherein the game's Secret Level is completed. Additionally, failed attempts are intentionally shown for the varying environment hazards since part of the game's charm arises from a "trial and error" method for solving puzzles, each with unique death animations.
This particular level becomes accessible once all 10 hidden eggs are found from elsewhere in the game's world. The Secret Level is located during Chapter 26 (the section with the big mosquito). Use Chapter Select to go there. At the start, climb down the long ladder, and continue to the right into the pitch black area, then past the arrangement of large candles. Each time a hidden egg was found and smashed (by stepping on it), a candle ignited. If all 10 are lit, the entrance to the new area will be open.
The secret level provides a unique challenge as many of the game's difficult hazards are repositioned inside a mostly pitch black setting, and require the reliance on audio cues to overcome them. The completion of the Secret Level results in the "DING!" Achievement/Trophy.
