While we didn't get traditional races in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, we did get lineages (originally Gothic Lineages in the Unearthed Arcana). We get 3 in this book: the Dhampir, the Hexblood, and the Reborn. They've all received updates from their UA versions and I think overall they're just improvements, to the point where I'm actually considering playing one in an upcoming game! What do you think?
