Hi, today we are looking at optimising Alan Wake 2. To me it looks like the FSR implementation for this game is poorly done. FSR is always on, and for instance selecting native resolution, looks worse than using the quality upscaling preset with lots of shimmer and looking quite blurry.

==Instructions==
1.INI file hacks - https://www.techpowerup.com/review/alan-wake-2-performance-benchmark/4.html
/AppData/Local/Remedy/AlanWake2/renderer.ini
m_bVignette: set this to "false" to disable vignetting
m_bDepthOfField: set this to "false" to disable depth of field
m_bLensDistortion: set this to "false" to disable lens distortion

2. Install CyberFSR 2.2
- Download from Nexus Mods and extract - https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/3001?tab=files
- Copy nvngx.dll and nvngx.ini to your game directory where AlanWake2.exe is located.
- In Heroic - Select the Game - Settings - Winetricks - Regedit - Registry - Import Registry File - EnableSignatureOverride.reg

3. Spoof a Nvidia GPU so CyberFSR will work through DLSS
- create a dxvk.conf file in your game directory where AlanWake2.exe is located with:
dxgi.customDeviceId = 24c9
dxgi.customVendorId = 10de
- Once game is started you will now have the DLSS option, which is the CyberFSR mod.
