Manually processing by hand to avoid command line… jokes aside, in Linux, the command line is often ironically called “the only bloatware you actually want.” Why? Because even the tiniest Linux distributions—like Alpine or Tiny Core—still include a terminal, even if they strip out literally everything else.
Why keep it? Because unlike actual bloatware (looking at you, preinstalled Candy Crush on Windows), the Linux command line is so powerful it replaces dozens of “heavy” GUI apps. Want a torrent client? Use aria2. Need a text editor? nano. Want to nuke your whole system with one typo? Yep, command line’s got that too.
