Quake Live ( formerly known as Quake Zero ) is a free to play first-person shooter.

First released as a browser game ( a plugin supporting IE, Firefox and Opera for Linux, MacOs and Windows ) it finally dropped out it's browser plugin support and came out as a standalone version for windows only now available on Steam.

Basically a free to play version of Quake 3 Arena with a matchmaking system.

~~ Troubleshooting ~~
Installation of the game is straigforward
But launching the game may require to edit /etc/protocols and add:
ip 0 IP
At the begining of the file.
