Luigi's a monster

We're playing through Luigi's Mansion on the Nintendo Gamecube. We are playing on an actual GameCube, not on Dolphin, and believe it or not, we are playing with the official Gamecube component cables! Who needs Luigi's Mansion HD? We already have it, in 480p! Brendan has played through this game a few times, but it is Rob's first playthrough. So, in a way, it is both a blind let's play and an experienced let's play.

A little about the game: Luigi's Mansion was released on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2001 as a launch title. It was the first big Mario series game to focus on Luigi, and really did a lot to bring personality to the character. It was also the introduction of the character E. Gadd, the scientist who guides Luigi and invents the Poltergust. He would go on to make appearances or being referenced in many other games, such as Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario Sunshine (he invented F.L.U.D.D.!). The game became a fan favorite, and would go on to receive two sequels much later: Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon on the 3ds and Luigi's Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch. Both were developed by Next Level Games rather than internally by Nintendo like the first game.
