Little Nightmares 2 Bosses are the Creepiest | My Favourite Thing In... (Little Nightmares 2 Review)
In this Little Nightmares 2 review, you'll learn that things here are very much like the original game: developer Tarsier Studios preys on your childhood fears. As you can see in this Little Nightmares 2 gameplay, everything in this world is bigger and scarier. From the cupboards and dining tables, to the teacher and doctor you were terrified of as a small kid. And, though a sort of combat system has been introduced, the best tactic for these Little Nightmares 2 bosses, as it were, is to just run away. Y'know... like what you wanted to do in school when the teacher started shouting at you. Try not to be too frightened and see if you can get through the entirety of this Little Nightmares gameplay video: you'll get an added bonus of a wonderful conversation between Colm and Rock Paper Shotgun's deputy editor Alice Bell if you do.

As Alice says in this Little Nightmares 2 review, the game is great at prodding away at all those memories you have when you were small. When you were the same size as Little Nightmares 2 characters Mono and Six, and you would scare more easily. That's what Little Nightmares 2 teacher is, that's what Little Nightmares 2 doctor is: manifestations of a child's nightmares. Apt, given the name, right?
But, it isn't all about these (sort of) Little Nightmares 2 bosses: there are smaller enemies that you can deal with by swinging a hammer in their face. But, don't go thinking the combat makes you feel over-powered. If anything, as Alice points out during the Little Nightmares gameplay, there are times where you'd prefer the option to run away, because facing your fears head on can be overwhelming. But, sometimes it just needs to be done. There are occasions where you just have to smash a porcelain doll's face in. And sometimes you have to run away. Either way, you'll be scared while doing it. That's Alice's favourite thing in Little Nightmares 2, but if you want to know what she thought of everything else in the game, be sure to have a read of her written Little Nightmares 2 review on RockPaperShotgun.com (https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/little-nightmares-2-review)
My Favourite Thing In... is a video series where Colm chats to one of the lovely RPS writers about their absolute favourite thing in a spang new video game they’ve been playing. In some cases, the writer will have to think long and hard about their choice, because the game they’ve been playing mightn’t be that great, while better games will have multiple things for them to pick.
