To be honest, this was easier than I was expecting. I knew the trick to the fight was that there were too many enemies present for them to be able to line up their attacks correctly, with O. Dio suffering the worst out of all of them due to having the largest sprite.

Since you did not give up your attack items in the traps, you instead get to use them here and they can be pretty helpful. Sundown is wearing the Frying Pan for defense, otherwise he and Mad Dog are set up the same way in the chapter itself.

If we actually got EXP or special drops from this fight, I would recommend going this route when offered. The time difference is fairly minimal and you can save time by just drinking at the bar instead of handing out assignments.

Lastly, I do show the alternate scene here where we fight Mad Dog so he won't be able to pursue us through the desert. Very small change overall, but it is up here for completion sake.
