### Win 11 getting a touch-friendly taskbar
- This is a feature coming to the latest Windows 11 preview.
- Windows 8 was the last time I remember Microsoft going for a tablet-friendly touchscreen mode.
- Sure, there is "Desktop Mode" vs "Tablet Mode" in Windows 10, but it's nearly useless to most people I've worked with - hundreds of tablet users.
- They're adding more space between the icons when you're using the device as a tablet. I think this is great, since there are also touchscreen laptops. Maybe I want to touch my greasy pizza fingers on my screen.
- The taskbar can disappear when you launch an app.
- You'll need a touch-enabled device to try this out. Win 11 still doesn't even have a dedicated tablet mode, so maybe it's worth a shot.
