This was more of a last minute experimental song with a tune I had recently made, so pardon if some of the vocals are sloppy. It took me two days to make roughly. This song is about all the little things people miss, told from those who manage to notice. I had a Pinocchio feel for this one, the toy soldier, an article of youth, would not know the big things and so revel in the small. The boy soldier (real boy) grown & home represents one who has gone through a life trauma (the purpose of labeling "soldier") and knows what is rightfully appreciable in life, that big joys can come from little things. Again, sounds a lot better in headphones, :D And pardon, the images are a little sloppy, too, Dx
Lyrics:
[Toy soldier says]
Wake sweet daydreamer,
You have the night ahead of you,
Please come join me on my request,
We've got recruiting to do.
So, I gathered all my friends,
They want a place to love and sight,
So, why not farmland stars,
Every night.
Such a beauty.

[Boy Soldier Grown & Home says]
Well, I'm a sucker,
For sights such as these,
Out of our cars beyond the barn,
Takes not much to please.
We throw our keys away in hay,
And we run with unquenchable might,
You don't see farmland stars,
Every night.
Such a beauty.
Oohh!
Such a beauty.
Oohh!

From fence to distant fence,
Through the trees and river, watch it flow!
Most people miss the little things,
That much we know!
Now with a horn I sounded a message,
Amidst a wealth of dewy light,
"Come see the farmland stars,
Every night.
Such a beauty.
Oohh!
Such a beauty.
Oohh!"
