Playing this game for the first time and, well, not expected that final boss will be that hard. More over, it's seems it's count as one of the hardest on the Genesis in overall.

Ever with the fact I've used save states here I didn't have much additional lives to use, while boss has more then three stages, which is unsual, and final one is tough, basically there like only one save spot that require a lot of shooting and jumping in a specific sequence to get it done. So. Plenty of pattern to learn and remember.

At the end result it took around one hour to deal with, i.e. 1/3 of whole time frame. Originally I was thinking to make some cuts, but later decide to left it how it is. You can scroll to final stage / proper tries at around ~ 2:49:55.

Gameplay and design is similar to Contra series, if not count the fact that hero here is not so quick. Also it's one of the rare examples where the atmosphere of not one, but both original titles was presented well.
