This is the longplay of Mega Man 5, known in Japan as Rockman 5: Blues no Wana!? (ロックマン5 ブルースの罠!?, Rokkuman 5 Burūsu no Wana!?), which means, "Rockman 5: Blues' Trap!?". This is an action and platform game released in Japan and the United States in December 1992 and in Europe in November 1993.

Mega Man 5 takes place in the 21st century, about 2 months after the events of Mega Man 4. Proto Man, secret brother and once ally to the world's greatest hero Mega Man, leads an army of robots in a series of destructive attacks on the world. To cripple the world's defenders, he kidnaps his own creator, the genius scientist Dr. Light. Mega Man wonders why Proto Man is doing this, but with little choice left, he sets out to stop him.

Mega Man prevails over a new group of eight powerful "Robot Masters" working under Proto Man: Star Man, Gravity Man, Gyro Man, Stone Man, Crystal Man, Charge Man, Napalm Man, and Wave Man. so perverse? Mega Man will go after it to find out.

Mega Man 5 is an action platformer that is very similar to the previous titles in the series. The gameplay comes down to the main character Mega Man and his running, jumping and shooting actions to make his way through a set of stages that can be played in the order of the player's choice. And every defeated boss, our hero will be able to use the boss's weapon. The hero also has more range and a bigger shot with the Mega Buster fully loaded, in addition to having different stages such as Gravity Man (where the hero can walk on the roof) and Wave Man (where Mega Man can use a jetski ).

In addition to the dog Rush, our hero also has a robot bird called Beat, created by Dr. Cossack (yes, the same Russian scientist from the previous game) and for that he needs to get the letters M-E-G-A-M-A-N-V.

Mega Man 5 got generally positive reactions from print and online publications. Many critics praised the game's graphics, music, controls and difficulty. Mega Man 5 had positive and/or mixed reactions, because of its reduced difficulty compared to its predecessors, considering it relatively easier to pick up and play casually.
