This is the longplay of Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, an action, platform and puzzle game released in 2004 exclusively for the Game Boy Advance.

I usually say that Mario is a very versatile character: he has driven karts, played tennis, golf and football, organized parties and in this game he assumes a role of entrepreneur by launching MiniMario, the first Mario Toy Company doll. The Donkey Kong character was watching television on the same day as the doll's release, sees the TV advertisement and quickly heads off to the nearest store to try and get a MiniMario, but to the monkey's anger, all of the MiniMario's stocks are sold out. Donkey Kong then decides to break into Mario's company and steals all of MiniMario's lot. Mario doesn't arrive at the factory in time to stop the theft, but he sees the monkey fleeing the scene. Without thinking twice, Mario goes after Donkey Kong to retrieve the toys. In this game, what is Nintendo's oldest rivalry is reborn: Mario Vs. Donkey Kong.

The game follows the Donkey Kong style of Arcades, but with many improvements, different stages and more variety. Mario needs to go through the stages, where in each one he will have to rescue one doll at a time, while collecting gifts and finding the key to the next stage. In the penultimate stage of each World, our hero must lead the puppets safely into a box and finally face Donkey Kong. With each world, the difficulty gradually increases, making the player use all Mario's movements, such as the somersault and the twist on suspended cables. The faster and more efficient the player's performance when controlling Mario, the more points he will get, also getting a gold star.

It's an excellent game, which requires a lot of strategy and is well balanced, and it's very rewarding to get through the stages. The video was made getting all the stars and includes as extras the Expert mode and the E-Reader Levels (which I recorded separately, using a save with the unlocked levels, and compiled in this video).
