Asterix & Obelix XXL — видеоигра, вышедшая сперва на PlayStation 2, а затем и в остальном мире на ПК, GameCube и Game Boy Advance в 2004 году. Разработчиками игры выступила французская компания Étranges Libellules и Velez & Dubail, а издателем проекта в мире — Atari, а в России — Акелла. Сюжет игры основан на комиксах Рене Госинни об одноимённых персонажах.Действия происходят в 50 году до н. э. Вся Галлия (нынешняя Франция, Германия и Бельгия) покорена римлянами, но одна деревня неукротимых галлов, по прежнему, не сдаётся захватчикам. Галлы, Астерикс и Обеликс как обычно отправились на охоту на кабанов. Ничто не предвещало беды. Но когда галлы вернулись, они заметили, что в деревне побывали римские войска. Деревня сожжена, друзья похищены. Астерикс сразу же отправился в деревню. По пути он встретил бывшего шпиона Римской империи — Сэма Шиффера, которого Юлий Цезарь уволил за превышения полномочий. Он на протяжении всей игры помогал главным героям, считая за нужное отомстить Цезарю. План Цезаря был таков, захватить деревню, похитить жителей, и отправить их в заключение в разные уголки Римской империи поделены на 5 частей кроме Галии (Нормандия, Греция, Гельвеция, Египет и Рим). По окончании он разломал свою мраморную карту. Кусочек мраморной карты достался каждому из заключённых (кроме вождя деревни Абранакурсикса). Герои отправились на поиски друзей, по пути их ожидали интересные приключения. В конце, после победы героев, Цезарь признаёт своё поражение и дарует свободу галлам.

This is the first part of the Asterix & Obelix XXL GameCube walkthrough (Galia). Asterix & Obelix XXL is a video game released first on PlayStation 2, and then in the rest of the world on PC, GameCube and Game Boy Advance in 2004. The developers of the game were the French company Étranges Libellules and Velez & Dubail, and the publisher of the project in the world is Atari, and in Russia — Akella. The plot of the game is based on comics Rene Gosinni about the eponymous characters.The action takes place in 50 BC . The whole of Gaul (present-day France, Germany and Belgium) was conquered by the Romans, but one village of indomitable Gauls still does not surrender to the invaders. Gauls, Asterix and Obelix went boar hunting as usual. Nothing foreshadowed trouble. But when the Gauls returned, they noticed that Roman troops had visited the village. The village is burned, friends are kidnapped. Asterix immediately went to the village. Along the way he met a former spy The Roman Empire — Sam Schiffer, who was fired by Julius Caesar for abuse of authority. He helped the main characters throughout the game, considering it necessary to take revenge on Caesar. Caesar's plan was to capture the village, kidnap the inhabitants, and send them to prison in different parts of the Roman Empire divided into 5 parts except Galia (Normandy, Greece, Helvetia, Egypt and Rome). At the end, he broke his marble map. A piece of the marble map went to each of the prisoners (except the leader of the village Abranakursix). The heroes went in search of friends, interesting adventures awaited them along the way. In the end, after the victory of the heroes, Caesar admits his defeat and grants freedom to the Gauls.
