This is the longplay of the game Lethal Enforcers, a light gun shooter game initially released on arcades and then on home consoles, produced and distributed by Konami. This is the Super Nintendo version, released in 1994.
Lethal Enforcers puts the player in the perspective of a police officer in charge of a series of missions. The stages that had to be completed were: a bank robbery, a Chinatown robbery, a kidnapping, a raid on a drug dealer's den and a seizure in a chemical plant. Initially, the player uses only a revolver, but during the game other weapons are available, such as a machine gun, a shotgun, a semi-automatic pistol, an assault rifle and even a grenade launcher. Some weapons could only be used until the ammunition ran out and were immediately replaced by the revolver, while others, such as the machine gun, could be used infinitely, but were lost if the player took damage. In addition to shooting, it is necessary to reload the weapon, shooting off-screen to do so.
Up to two players could participate at the same time, aiming at the bad guys with plastic weapons (Konami Justifier) that worked based on an optical sensor. Or it was also possible to use the normal joystick to control the aim, one button to shoot and another to reload the weapon.
The game's graphics are based on realistic photographs and there is a whole B-action movie atmosphere throughout the game. It is a good game to play with the pistol, however it is a little more complicated using the controller (at least they included this possibility, can you imagine not being able to play the game just because you didn't have the Konami Justifier?). The video was made with 2 players using the joystick, since we couldn't find a way for 2 players to use the Justifier at the same time in the emulator (since the pistol is emulated through the PC mouse).
