Lono's Mask's REWORK Will RESHAPE The Meta (Of My Heart😍)
205Lono's Mask and its T1, Protector's Mask, got a rework in the SMITE Midseason Patch. Protector's Mask is now a starter item with similar - but enhanced - benefits as Sentinel's Gift, providing the user with gold, health and mana for minion assists. Both Masks provide damage mitigation and initially decrease your damage dealt. This allows Mages, Hunters and Assassins to flex into the support role much better. Lono's Mask also provides a massive protection aura to teammates, which is very noticeable in fights. In order to fully utilize Lono's Mask's benefits, the wearer needs to have at least 300 physical and magical protections combined to get rid of the "Cowardice" debuff and fully replace it with "Bravery" stacks. These provide the mitigation for yourself and protection aura for your team.
