In this part we start the game with a LOT of farming. Gotta get some levels early and make sure we are well equipped. I recall back in the day using the strategy of grinding until you can buy the best gear in each town, and usually you'll be around the right level for the next part of the game.

As a quick note, this game uses the same engine as Dragon Warrior and Dragon Warrior II, which is why this game doesn't appear to have any graphical improvements. In terms of gameplay, it's an older RPG, so grinding makes up the majority of the difficulty, however, it's pretty clear that the RPG mechanics in this particular Dragon Warrior game have been significantly improved upon from Dragon Warrior II. Note: The audio issues I experienced later in the video continue into the next part, but I have since found the issue and it shouldn't happen again... I hope.
