"Some of you are probably wondering why this one took basically a year+ to fully come out, and is in two parts. First off, this has been sitting on my hard drive for close to two years. That doesn't explain the two parts though - I decided to split it into 2 because A, I thought it was too long at the time for one part and we already have a LotR extended cut length highlight reel (Cyberpunk) and B is because I wanted to get some practice with editing and figure out what works and what didn't.
You can probably tell that there is a strong difference between part 1 and 2 - Lore told me he didn't want memes in his highlight reels in the way I was including them, which sort of threw me for a loop because I'd started Part 2 with a lot of memes (one of the ones that made it through being the acclaimed Gene Roddenberry gag). But that honestly cancelled a lot of my momentum, so I put it down, which delayed it further. Now I've cleaned it up and finished it, with some gags that are hopefully more tasteful! Yay!
Secondly, I had a couple of reasonably taxing jobs that I have since left, which gives me more time to work on these highlight reels. During those jobs I had neither the time nor energy to effectively commit to editing a full hour of stream clips. And as you're probably aware I recently developed the Secret of the Stars reel which took more priority due to certain circumstances. Now that I'm free to work on highlight reels again, you can expect a few more of these - The next one being Hedon Bloodrite, a game I actually care a great deal about.
With that said, sit back, relax and enjoy what is probably my best-editted highlight reel so far! I put a lot of work into it, and there's plenty more where this came from!
