The final moments of the game are actually incredibly action packed. We say our farewell to Basil, activate the super VS and have a show down with the real Isenberg.
Essentially it's a Zone of the Enders fight, both of you are super agile and have moves very similar to Jehuty and friends.
As usual, it takes me a bit to remember exactly how to do the moves and get my mobility down.
Truth is it's a dps race. The tracking on those guns and the missiles, and the homing lasers (when he's dying) are just too much. It's best to get an angle where you can just slash him with the charged sword and make him repeat his patterns.
And you know what? this games ending makes sense, it's bittersweet but very easy to follow. Too bad they never directly followed up on this game and went with no central protagonist for 2.
