Well this game for 2006 was solid I wouldn't say it was great but solid for sure, the graphics were enjoyable back i the day and we would say it was next gen graphics.
Looking at it now the biggest problem with this game is movement very restrictive player movement.
You can kill the worm in mission 3 but the game just re spawns it
"It's a testament to strong game design that even with numerous technical and porting issues, Lost Planet's single-player campaign makes it still worth taking a look. But as visually dazzling as it is, the PC version can't quite reach the heights of its console counterpart, thanks to inexplicable design decisions and broken online play. It's too bad these issues weren't ironed out prior to release, but if you can look past them, you're bound to get a lot of enjoyment from shooting down colossal creepy-crawlies. " - GameSpot
Metacritic - 70%
This game has very dated graphics and I think with reshade you get a lot of boost graphically that is why I have "remasterd" in the title.
I'm using a shader that was created by Pascal Gilcher that works with reshade, if you want to grab this shader you need to become a part of his patreon community.

To get depth buffer you need to use dgVoodoo, Using DX 11 output.
