[Lots of Flashing: Warning] Skyrim VR opening... in a vomit coaster.
So, turns out Bethesda, in their infinite wisdom, made Skyrim VR with the assumption that everything was running at 90 Hz.
My headset (Valve Index) is 120-144 Hz.
Apparently, this means that absolutely nothing works correctly physics-wise if it travels on roads - horses, people, and most importantly carts. Like the cart you start the game in.
Also, that cart ride is controlled by someone other than you, which is a method of causing nausea in VR (because your body thinks you are moving without you actually moving). So I've nicknamed this the vomit coaster. Unfortunately, I only started recording after the physics engine started getting REALLY bad - before it was just like riding a roller coaster.
