Love Live! School Idol Festival with Thumbs - Snow Halation Master
As expected, due to Snow Halation's low BPM, the number of notes were also kept low at 551 for a full combo. Despite this, I actually consider Snow Halation to be the most difficult in terms of technical aspects.
First, the tempo of the song changes throughout; starting slow, ramping fast to the climax, and finishing slow. Rather than bombarding you with many rapid taps, the majority of patterns are hold notes coupled with taps on the other side.
A completely new pattern appears near the end of the song (1:39 - 1:48) which is a short hold on one side and double taps on the other. This is a common pattern in other rhythm games (e.g. Starlight Stage) but we've never really seen it in School Idol Festival before.
Due to the unfamiliar pattern, I decided to scrape my first attempt (had over 100 Greats) and recorded a few more times until I got used to this new pattern. Sub 60 Greats isn't that impressive, but I'll consider it a victory when I have to record my hands as well.
Played on an iPhone 6s with thumbs. Recorded using an AVerMedia C875 (Live Gamer Portable).
