Fucked the 2nd affix slam on Exsang, cunt costed 13m, 27/30 pot AS. Should of been more patient and got a +4 flask/vit/cold res/% health exalted; the dusk shroud on melee does nothing for me. 25/30 AS makes a huge diff, still missing 23% on 2nd Heirloom.

In swapping over from the life build, I lost 30% AS on chest, 97% cold res, 45% DoT from Elecoe's and 27% cold res on Frostbite Shackles and can feel it vs bosses. Build won't feel smooth until you get +4 Flask levels/30% throwing attack speed (T7) on the chest and around 500% cold res. Missing 53% AS, 315% cold res and 570% FRM from the aspirational build max which is ~300% cold pen. Gearwise it's identical to the life build but for 3 changes: Bleeding Heart to Xithara, another Frostbite Shackles with at least t5 experimental health to ward drain and Elecoe's to Exsang.
Your pot is a 4s 30% AS steroid off of Exsang. We lose 15% AS on the ammy implicit dropping BH. Use it with Smoke Bomb shadows which also throw traps to amass frostbite stacks, restoring mana off of the experimental belt affix and granting ward off of Xithara's. Could chuck pot on an AHK macro for passive ward on collect, devs said it's allowed, or could stock for Smoke Bomb burst.
I believe Smoke Trap shadow thrown Traps can auto fling Flasks to enemies, improving both echo stability build and single target frostbite ramp. Being a throwing attack it only costs 11 mana, manageable every 10s.

Notes:
- Frostbite = A DoT that deals cold dam and increases chance to be Frozen by 20%. It has 36 base dam and lasts 3s. It can stack with no limit but only the first 30 stacks increase chance to be Frozen. Frostbite has a fixed base damage, but is affected by damage modifiers from the skill tree and attribute scaling of the skill that applies it. We've got 260% Frostbite chance (applies multiple stacks) off of the core 3 uniques: Shackles/Snowdrift/Volatile Ice. It’s got double cold pen. Every 10% FRM you’ve got converts to 2% cold pen via Snowdrift. Every 5% uncapped cold res converts to 3% cold pen via the Knowledge of Immunity Acid Flask node. No pen cap. Pen bypasses a given amount of enemy % res. This even can go into the negative, so even on enemies with 0 res (which most enemies have) it will increase your dam. Shred = -5% (or -2% vs bosses) res to enemies, stacks up to x times.
- Base dam of frostbite scales harder with FRM than % cold dam.
- Ash compartment is our only source of cold shred.
- Contamination, Hydrochloric Acid & Lasting Sickness aren't working with cold, either bugged or the trade-off for double cold pen.
- Main defense = capped dodge/glancing blows while spamming traps, 90% GB base, over 2k stacked armor, double leech, 9% block, ward when enemies freeze off Frostbite Shackles and -32% damage taken while moving.
- Went Frozen Ire over dagger as FI caps necrotic res so you can get cold res elsewhere, gives 658% FRM where daggers can't get that or ele DoT, no good cold dagger uniques to slam, higher base dam, frees up the poison nodes you'd take for defensive nodes like Shroud of Dusk. 120% cold damage/Tundra Nova on hit are freebies.
