Time for the second dungeon!

I nab a couple secrets on the way there, which is really just annoying since I did this after every fail. I actually failed a decent amount of times on this segment, which is surprising because it really isn't too difficult.

Crossing the desert is rather simple. As long as you keep your guard up, the sandmen don't really move quickly enough to get a jump on you.

I make some use of the Ice Rod here, although it's not really much faster or safer than using the sword anyways, if at all. The...antlions?...that pop up and shoot fireballs are usually easily dispatched by charging up a spin slash before they pop out of the ground. Leevers aren't much of a threat either, provided that you watch out for them digging up directly underneath you (I remember getting hit like that when I played this a long time ago). Beamos are strangely meaningless...the best strategy 95% of the time is simply to pretend they aren't there and just walk through the room as quickly as I would normally. The bubble shooters somehow get unaligned which slows me down on the return trip. I grab all the main dungeon items in preparation to finish the dungeon next segment.
