Today is the final episode of chapter 7, and the last episode in which I am joined by my friend Sky. We finish the Crystal Palace with the defeat of the Crystal King, and check up on Bowser!

A Little Bit About [LP] Paper Mario!
Paper Mario, also known as Mario Story, was originally released on the Nintendo 64 in 2000. It was developed by Intelligent Systems, an internal team of Nintendo. It was released in Europe in 2001, and I got it as a Christmas present a few years later... and began my first journey through this beautiful game!
Paper Mario currently has a Metacritic score of 93% and is widely regarded as one of the cutest Mario games of all time. Although basic in terms of puzzles and battle strategy, it is a wonderful RPG and certainly a perfect introduction to both the genre and the franchise. Paper Mario's cuteness supremacy was later succeeded by its sequel on the Nintendo Gamecube, The Thousand-Year Door (which I have not played. Sadface).
The game follows Mario's invitation to a party which takes off in an unsurprising manner, resulting in Princess Peach being kidnapped (again). Bowser takes the magical Star Rod from Star Haven, whose inhabitants, the Great Star Spirits, grant the wishes of the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom. He uses this Star Rod to imprison the Star Spirits, granting his own selfish wishes and the wishes of his most loyal minions. Mario must venture around the Mushroom Kingdom with the help of his party of ragamuffins to release the Star Spirits and save Princess Peach!
This is not my first playthrough of this game, but it is not a completionist run. I miss out a lot of the optional extras, but by God do I have fun playing it! This game is also my second LP, meaning that there is a lot of experimentation with audio and visual quality. Viewer beware!
