On episode 23 of Distro Delves we're looking at Lubuntu 20.04 which is a flavor of Ubuntu that uses Lxqt.

I don't normally do episodes on flavors or spins of other distros but this was requested by a Patron so I was happy to oblige.

Lubuntu itself was fine but Lxqt is pretty underwhelming aside for its tiny footprint.

Unless you are using severely resource-constrained hardware, I see absolutely no reason to use Lubuntu over Ubuntu Mate or Xubuntu. You lose a huge amount of functionality just to save 100, maybe 200 mb of memory at idle.
