0'Luck' is a computer-animated fantasy family movie that Peggy Holmes directed. Sam Greenfield, an awkward 18-year-old girl who may or may not have the worst luck in the world, is the protagonist of the novel. Sam leaves the orphanage where she was raised to live on her own, but her bad luck follows her. When she encounters a mystifying black cat and finds the penny he unintentionally drops, that situation is temporarily changed. She decides to offer her newfound luck to her younger best friend Hazel so that she might find a nice permanent home once her luck improves exponentially.
