Recently, Errant Signal put out a video about narrative vs ludic criticism where he expanded and claimed that ludonarrative dissonance is a useless concept because it is inherently biased and prods the critic to see the game as negative. Here, I argue that ludonarrative dissonance is one end of a spectrum, where the other end is ludonarrative harmony, and that if one considers the term as belonging in a spectrum it becomes immensely useful.
