My review of the arcade coin-op game Gradius (AKA Nemesis), released by Konami in 1985. This game ate plenty of my 10p's back in the day and started an entire sub-genre within the horizontal shoot-em-up brethren. A good game, but hasn't exactly aged superbly due to the much more advanced power-up systems implemented in later games.
