My review of the arcade coin-op game Alien Syndrome, released by Sega in 1987. The game that started the whole gaming trend of making aliens as grotesque and repulsive as a developers imagination allowed, this was quite an enjoyable shooter despite some annoying flaws and the inclusion of one of my big pet hates in arcade coin-ops... the time limit.
