Lukozer Retro Game Review 410 - The Last V8 - Commodore 128
22My review of the Commodore 128 game The Last V8, published by MAD Games (Mastertronic Added Dimension) in 1985. Of all the C64 MAD Games releases to make a C128 version of, why this FFS??? The C128 version features vastly improved speech, 3 levels instead of just 2, a brand new level 1 (which is actually just the same as level 1 of Red Max), a redesigned level 2 and slightly tweaked layout for level 3. Unfortunately it also features the same tiny letterbox view of the play area and a totally undriveable car, making this game utterly unbearable!!
NOTE: The distortion in my narration is back as the Shadowplay issue has still not been fixed.
