In this part, we continue a Side Quest, then we head for Halgita to meet with Empress Svala. We find out that a man lives in the Cobasna Timberlands who may be able to help Edward, and go to see him. We arrive at the man's house who announces himself as Kiriya. Kiriya explains how Lunaglyphs work and that the Lunar Rain is actually turning people with Lunaglyphs into monsters called Vermiforms (like the one we fought in Kolton). Kiriya joins our party and we get ready to return to Kolton to save Edward.

Previously, we gave Simon's Grandparents his broken glasses and had to wait 30 Minutes. Now that the 30 Minutes have passed, his grandparents have asked us for further proof that he is dead. We head over to the south side of town and find the Damaged Pendant by the center statue and return it to Simon's Grandparents to complete this quest.
