LV4 Feats in under 2 mins - FOR HONOR SUICIDE STRAT
Have you been dying for a way to get LV4 FEATS early? Excellent, your halfway there! So how does this suicide strategy work?
You need 335 renown in Dominion and 220 for Skirmish to unlock your final feat. Depending on your class each revive will give you 30 OR 35 renown. So this means you can unlock your catapults with approx 9.5 revives (Dominion) or 6.5 revives (Skirmish) respectively! So just gather 3 friends, equip feat reduction gear and kill yourself. What could go wrong?
----WHAT GOES WRONG----
It was hard to pinpoint at first, but in editing you can see it clearly. Whenever you die, the other team will gain POINTS giving them a pretty significant lead in the actual match. Each death in skirmish will lose 25 points (not always, it is a bit buggy). While in Dominion it is a measly 5 points (once again, sometimes it doesn't, bugs man). Dominion seems the best place to use this strat, since after all... 5 points is the same as 5 soldiers dying to players. Not a big deal at all.
BUT what is a big deal is depending on map, you are going to have most points uncontested for about 1-2 mins. It can be hard to swing back after that if they are boosting their zones too. Overall I'd say this trick has it's uses, perhaps sacrifice 20seconds only to do a single round of killing your self to reach LV 1.5ish. That's a pretty big advantage for such a small trade off.
Overall it was pretty fun n' educational. Major thanks for selfless sacrifice Sir Rexi, QuanticLoop and Deathlazer. Next time I will give it a bit of practice first eh?
