Adding heatsinks to USB charger boards to see if thermals gets better.
As far as testing goes only the blue board got a small coil and might run warm. The other boards have some reasonable thermals and are high quality boards.
Purple have heatsinks on the diodes, master chip and on the underside to make it easier to fit inside the plastic case. It also absorbe heat aswell so: win win.
Blue board have a oversized heatsink on the coil and the diode have thermal glue on it connecting it to the heatsink. Master chip have a oversized heatsink and both heatsinks are thermally connected through thermal glue. It might be risky since booth can run really hot. But they will spread heat over 2 heatsinks and ground plane. Looking forward for the results.
CTP01 using a IP6525T chip.
LX-FC25M using a IP6525S chip.
Blue board using a MP1584EN chip.
