Here is something that seems so "shocking" to see! I hope you don't get a nightmare for this logo or get electrocuted!

2nd Logo
(September 30, 1990-July 4, 1992, May 21-September 3, 2017)

WARNING: Please do not watch this if you have epilepsy

Nicknames: "The Rack Logo", "The Shocking Rack", "The Twin Peaks Rack", "That Seizure-Inducing Logo from Twin Peaks"

Logo: There's a massive short circuit somewhere in the logo as we see two racks (what they appear to be) that are placed one above the other. The top has the words "LYNCH/FROST" and the bottom has the word "PRODUCTIONS" below. Meanwhile, electricity zaps, lights go on and off in different sides and corners, and two metallic circles appear randomly behind the racks.

FX/SFX: The electricity sizzling, the random lights switching on and off, and the circles appearing. This is all done in (purposely) crude stop-motion animation.

Cheesy Factor: The electricity sizzling is so rapid, it could give people seizures.

Music/Sounds: An extended version of the electric sizzling from the previous logo.

Availability: Can be seen on DVD releases and reruns of both the original and the 2017 reboot of Twin Peaks. Was also seen on On the Air.

Scare Factor: High to nightmare. The mishmash of effects and the loud sound of electricity sizzling, coming jarringly after the slow fade-out from Angelo Badalamenti's serene music, but especially the sudden start of all this, will definitely startle and scare more than a few; it worsens for those prone to epilepsy (though this logo fits perfectly with the nature of Twin Peaks).
