Hi guys! Today I bring you a really short video on how Hitman2: Silent Assassin, for the Nintendo GameCube, runs on the latest M1 MacBook Air with stock 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. This is running with Dolphin Emulator on macOS BigSur (11.5.2.), and controlled with the Microsoft Xbox Controller (connected via Bluetooth with macOS and mapped via configuration). Specifically in this game, I found that the 1440p resolution configuration (resulting in 2560x2112 = 4 x native res), runs fine on the system, with a steady frame rate and no thermal throttling. Just as a reminder, this MBA does not have a fan, therefore it only relies on passive cooling. In my opinion, performance is outstanding. Excuse my poor gameplay, I was still adapting to the controls). It is all being recorded locally as well.
