This is the highlights from our "OoT ACE Meme% Live-Patching" panel at MAGFest 2023. We did the Arbitrary Code Execution setup in Ocarina of Time, on a real N64 and with an original, unmodified Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Nintendo 64 cartridge. But instead of injecting a new plot leading to a meaningful alternate ending as we did in TASBot's Triforce% run at SGDQ 2022, we took suggestions from the audience for what to put into the game. We accepted one meme character and one meme song, built them live on stage, and injected them into unmodified OoT via TASBot pressing buttons on the controllers extremely quickly. There were some minor issues with the results, but we still proved that we were live-patching the game!
