I tried a lot of different builds this patch for my magicka templar. Although my swift/overwhelming setup from last patch still works really well, I wanted to find something that was not using proc sets for damage. This build has very high healing with great burst damage, probably one of the most bursty magplar builds I have ever ran. Since healing is so high this patch, burst is important for finishing kills.

I drew some inspiration from watching a few of Akinos pvp's videos featuring a 2h. Although this build isn't anything he is running, I feel like he is another good resource for magplar build ideas.
