Balance of Twilight is a very tough scenario. We must destroy three Dark Phantoms guarding the Shrine of Darkness. Phantoms are very strong creatures dealing magic area damage capable of killing your heroes almost instantly. They will attack your city in time periods and after dealing some damage they retreating to the shrine to gain full heal. Fighting with them is pointless until second objective will be completed. Beginning of the mission is really rough. Phantoms will attack you from the start and additional monsters will come from north. Also goblin camps are located on the flanks and will spawn goblins in time periods. Many Evil Castles and Ruined Altars are present on the map. We must hold until reaching palace tier 3 and that will not be easy. Try to stop the Phantoms by building upgraded Guardhouses. With army of Gnoms repairing, they can withstand Phantom attacks. In meantime try to expand your city on the map edge avoiding Phantom attacks in this areas. Temple of Krypta would be good idea thanks to army of skeletons wandering through the map and luring the Phantoms preventing them from attacking your base. Trolls, Minotaurs and Werewolves will attack you along with Goblins. Be prepared and wait until Fairgrounds is builded. Now we can collect lot of gold and upgrade our heroes. Start upgrading everything and hire all available heroes from all guilds. When Phantoms attack and kill some of them, immediately create new and hold until situation is stabilized. Now place bounty on Goblin camps and destroy them. Explore the map and destroy all Evil Castles and monster production buildings on the map leaving only phantoms and Shrine of Darkness. Now we must find the Mausoleum far from our city and take control of it. We can ressurect fallen hero for 50.000 gold. That is a lot of money but we must collect the gold and ressurect the Wizard. He is lvl 50 Wizard and after ressurection he will immediately travel to your city and Shrine of Light. He performs a ritual and dissappears but now we can kill the Phantoms. You should have high leveled heroes now, place a huge bounty on Phantoms and wait untill your heroes destroy them. After Phantoms are destroyed scenario is complete.
