Make your own Sharp x68000 PSU

Do you have a broken or Japanese specification PSU in yout Sharp x68000 that you would just love to replace? Have no fear, the solution is here!

Regardless of your model the principals are the same, so get to work!

Its a long video, but I think its the most complete one you will find, including how to source a PSU and even build the NOT gate inverter from scratch! This will be a job you can be proud of!

Note: If you are removing the ATX cables completely, ensure that you solder 3v3 sense wire on your PSU (this usually goes to the ATX connector and is spliced to the 3v3 line) directly to the 3v3 on the ATX PSU itself, otherwise the PSU will shut down after a second when you power it up.
